Data has been referred to as the oil, blood vessel, or cornerstone of business nowadays. Someone has also described data as the diamond of our era. However, it is a very unequally distributed asset. Some technology giants, like Facebook, Google, and Amazon, are considered the behemoths of data who know everything about each and every one of us. Their entire business models are based on the data about individual users of their products: identities, location data, online purchases, and transaction history, even personal preferences.
